Fairview Darling Riesling 2023 - Limited Stock Available

Description

Harvested on the 27th of February 2023, this Riesling comes from unirrigated vineyards just outside Darling on the cool-climate West Coast. Planted in 2003 on red Oakleaf soils at 300 metres above sea level, the site brings bright acidity and coastal freshness to the fruit.

In the glass, it shows a pale green-yellow hue with fragrant notes of jasmine blossoms, lemon, and apricot. The palate offers a semi-dry entry with lively acidity, tart stone fruit, and a stony, linear minerality that reflects its origin. Thanks to its natural balance and good pH, this wine will age gracefully over 3 to 5 years, developing more complex aromas, but it’s equally delightful enjoyed fresh.
