Fairview Tannat 2024 is a striking red that reflects our drive to explore and push boundaries. Originally from the Basque region and now thriving in Uruguay, Tannat has found a new home in the soils of our Paarl farm. Planted in 2004 on the lower slopes, the vigorous vines are carefully managed to maintain balance and fruit quality.
The 2024 vintage is deep and dark in the glass, with seductive aromas of sweet black cherries, spiced plums, and hints of dark raspberry. On the palate, it’s richly textured with generous fruit and a signature firm tannin finish that promises excellent aging potential up to 8 years. Perfectly matched with grilled lamb cutlets or pork fillet mignon.
