Description
Harvested in 2023 from trellised vineyards rooted in decomposed granite soils in Paarl, this blend reflects both power and approachability. Each variety was vinified separately in stainless steel, with daily pump-overs to extract colour and flavour. After fermentation, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and was matured in a mix of tank and barrel to build depth and roundness.
In the glass, it shines with dark ruby hues and bursts of red berries, ripe plums, and spice. The palate follows through with rich, sweet fruit, balanced by soft oak and a touch of tannin for structure. Whether served with a hearty stew, spicy tomato relish, or a generous cheese board, it’s a comforting, fruit-forward red that’s easy to love.
