The Goats Do Roam White 2024 is a lively, expressive blend crafted from grapes grown mainly in Paarl with smaller parcels from Darling. Decomposed granite soils add purity and freshness, while the warm climate enhances ripe fruit flavour. Each variety was fermented separately in stainless steel at cool temperatures, then blended and aged briefly on lees to build texture and balance.
Pale lemon in colour, it bursts with aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, and white flowers. The palate is crisp and vibrant with bright acidity and a smooth, clean finish. Easy-drinking yet elegant, it’s perfect with grilled fish, seafood pasta, roast chicken, or Fairview’s soft goat’s cheese.
