Description
Goats Do Roam Red 2023 brings together a classic Rhône-inspired blend of Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cinsault, all grown on decomposed granite soils from our Fairtrade-certified vineyards across Paarl, Darling, Swartland, and Stellenbosch. Harvested between mid-February and late March, these grapes offer both ripeness and regional character.
In the glass, the wine bursts with fresh red cherries, wild berries, and warm spice, underpinned by a touch of oak and silky tannins. Its youthful vibrancy and layered palate make it a standout partner to Mediterranean-style dishes, especially rich roasts and braised meats like sirloin with Roquefort mushrooms or slow-cooked lamb.
Lovely wine at this price point. Highly recommended!
Very happy!
