Grown on a cool, south-facing slope of the Paarl Mountain, the Fairview Verdelho 2022 comes from a vineyard nestled among fynbos and granite soils ideal for this early-ripening Portuguese variety. The location offers enough warmth for full ripeness, while the elevation and exposure preserve the grape’s natural acidity.
This vintage opens with bright aromatics of stone fruit, Forelle pear, and a whisper of sea salt. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with crisp citrus, a touch of honeysuckle, and a delicate layer of oak adding depth.
