Description
Grown on the terraced, low-yielding Stok-by-Paaltjie vineyards of Paarl Mountain, this 2022 vintage draws character from decomposed granite and rocky shale soils. Harvested in early March, the wine shows a bright ruby hue with aromas of cherry, Cape fynbos, and cracked pepper. The palate is fresh and juicy, layered with red berry fruit, fine tannins, and a touch of spice. Ethereal and light-bodied, it can be enjoyed slightly chilled now or matured for up to three years. It pairs beautifully with Mediterranean tapas, delicately spiced Asian dishes, or local favourites like lamb chops and paella.
