Description
Fairview Riesling 2025 comes from cool-climate vineyards near Darling on the West Coast, where ocean breezes help the grapes keep their bright acidity and fresh aromas. The unirrigated vines grow in red Oakleaf soils about 300 metres above sea level, allowing the fruit to ripen slowly and develop vibrant flavour.
In the glass, the wine shows a pale green-yellow colour with aromas of lemon, apricot and soft floral notes. The palate is gently off-dry with juicy stone fruit flavours and a lively acidity that keeps the wine refreshing and well balanced.
This Riesling pairs beautifully with Thai and Cape Malay dishes, where its natural sweetness softens spicy flavours. It also works wonderfully with creamy cheeses like Fairview goat’s milk Camembert, making it a great choice for a relaxed wine and cheese tasting.
