A wine made only in ideal vintages, La Beryl Rouge 2021 reflects a season of mild summer days and slow ripening, perfect for naturally drying grapes without rot. Deep garnet in colour, it opens with perfumed aromas of black pepper, fynbos, ripe plums, and mulberry compote.
The palate is layered with dark fruit and black tea, finishing clean and fresh. Best enjoyed on its own or alongside a cheese platter featuring Fairview’s Blue Tower or Chevre Roue.
