Description
Grown on the highest slopes of Fairview’s Diamant Farm in Paarl, the vineyards behind this Grenache Noir range from 10 to 14 years old and thrive in decomposed granite soils with pockets of schist. Harvested between the 14th and 16th of February 2023, the fruit benefits from excellent elevation and natural drought resistance, ideal for both current and future conditions.
In the glass, it shows a bright, transparent red hue with aromas of juicy raspberry, wild herbs, and a touch of fynbos spice. The palate is fresh and fruit-driven, with soft tannins and lively acidity that make it incredibly easy to drink what we like to call "smashable." A medium-bodied red that’s equally at home slightly chilled or served at room temp.
