Description
Fairview Grenache Blanc 2024 is made from three vineyard sites in Paarl, Darling, and Piekenierskloof, each adding its own character to the wine. Granite soils in Paarl bring fruit richness, Darling adds cool-climate freshness and floral notes, while old-vine Piekenierskloof fruit contributes crisp acidity and mineral lift. Hand-picked grapes were gently pressed, with only free-run juice used before fermenting in stainless steel and older French oak for added texture.
Light golden in colour, it shows aromas of ripe stone fruit, fynbos herbs, cut flowers, and lemon. The palate is fresh and crunchy with a clean mineral finish. Fairview Grenache Blanc 2024 pairs beautifully with seared tuna, Asian spices, cold beef fillet salad, chicken casserole, or cheese platters.
