Erasmus Family Reserve 2021 is a limited-release red blend that reflects the rugged terroir of Swartland. Made from Carignan, Shiraz, Petite Sirah and Grenache Noir, the wine was hand-harvested and fermented in open concrete tanks before maturing for 12 months in seasoned French oak. Only 12 barrels were produced, underscoring its rarity.

In the glass, Erasmus Family Reserve 2021 is silky and smooth with layered flavours of blackcurrant, cherry and plum. The palate shows elegance and depth, carrying the hallmark structure of Swartland’s iron-rich soils.

Perfect with slow-roasted meats, barbecued pork, or Asian-inspired dishes with plum sauce, this blend pairs beautifully with bold flavours. Erasmus Family Reserve 2021 is a fine expression of Swartland craftsmanship, balancing intensity with finesse.
