Description

Broken Barrel Red TnT 2024 is a striking red blend crafted from Tempranillo (51%), Tannat (35%), and Durif (14%) sourced from selected Coastal Region vineyards. Grown in decomposed granite and koffieklip soils, the vines benefit from warm days and cool nights, preserving freshness and structure.

Each component was fermented separately in open-top tanks, basket-pressed, and matured for 16 months in French and American oak. The wine shows a deep ruby colour with aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry, and warm spice. On the palate, dark fruit, cocoa, and wild herbs are framed by smooth tannins and subtle oak, leading to a long, elegant finish.
