The stylish and complex wine has a nose that shows a vibrant profusion of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, spice and slight vanilla and floral notes. With fine tannins and a rich mouthfeel, the wine has a long, resplendent finish. The is balances and well-integrated and the bodacious wine pairs well with lamb-shank roasts and hearty, soulful oxtail potjie accompanied by samp, porcini mushrooms and mature cheese shavings.
