Description
Fairview Extraño 2021 is a Rioja-inspired blend of Tempranillo, Cinsault, Grenache, and a touch of Shiraz, grown in the warm, dry vineyards of Paarl. Harvested in late February to early March after a cooler vintage, the wine offers a dark burgundy hue and aromas of dark berries, clove, and cinnamon.
The palate is full-bodied, with brooding dark fruit, firm tannins typical of Tempranillo, and layered spice. Its dry, savoury finish makes it a perfect companion to mature cheese, charcuterie, or flame-grilled meats. A serious, structured red that will reward cellaring for up to 8 years.
