Light golden colour with aromas of hay, freshly picked herbs with some lemon and almond blossoms. Fresh, crunchy fruit such as apple and peach on the palate followed by a creamy texture and typical hints of minerality. Drink now or cellar for another 1-2 years.
Description
Produced from two distinct vineyard blocks each with its own expression of the variety adds complexity to the final blend. The high lying Paarl vineyard farm with south facing slopes of the mountain with decomposed granite soils give fruity aromas and weight. Blended with a cooler climate vineyard, bush vines from Darling with richer Malmesbury shale soils and a cool breeze from the Atlantic Ocean contributes to the fresh acidity and subtle flower notes.
