Description
Broken Barrel White 2024 is a distinctive white blend made from seven cultivars, each fermented separately in amphora and French oak. The wine spent 10 months on gross lees with regular bâtonnage before blending, light fining, filtration, and bottling, building texture and complexity.
Fruit is sourced from Paarl, Darling, and Piekenierskloof, bringing together tropical richness, bright coastal acidity, and refined balance. In the glass, the wine opens with sunshine fruits of pineapple and stone fruit, lifted by delicate florals and subtle oak. The palate is textured and expressive, showing peach and citrus layered over creamy lees richness, finishing with gentle oak spice.
Fresh yet complex, Broken Barrel White 2024 is delicious now but has the structure to age gracefully. A versatile choice for seafood, roast chicken, creamy pastas, or relaxed evenings with good company.
